The Automation of Everything

Having taken my first ride in a self-driving Tesla employee-owned, car the experience was very impressive. Tesla is taking automation to the very edge, I can just imagine how the Tesla factories are automated. The automation of warehouses/retail stores will come on strong providing new markets for the semi sector in two huge industries. It's almost beyond imagination when automated warehouses and automated delivery will change everything and become a mega market for semis of all types. We will see more changes in the next ten years as we have seen in the last forty. The gains in efficiency, accuracy and time will become so significant we won't recognize the world in ten years as the semi sector puts the speed of progress on steroids. Ownership structures will also be changed by this trend as it will also impact the financial world. The speed of progress is going to create more problems and disruption that will create new opportunities that most haven't even imagined. Any thoughts, comments and additions sought and welcome.

I've stated seeing much more of the term "Dark Factory" or "Lights Out Factory" where robots do all the work - they can keep the lights out to trim costs.
