Tesla created secret team to suppress thousands of driving range complaints

"The automaker last year became so inundated with driving-range complaints that it created a special team to cancel owners’ service appointments."

Instead of troubleshooting the range problems, Tesla puts more effort to "troubleshoot" the car owners who reported the problems. I'm thinking if Tesla applied the same approach on those people who reported problems related to the auto driving and safety features.

I spent lots of time providing videos to help them find my car problem. But they refuse to give me conclusion on email (possibly for legal reasons). They just refer me to local team again and they know nothing.

Either they don't know what they are doing or you are already in the Tesla's special customer problems diversion program :)

I have the early batch Model 3. 5+ yrs did not have ANY problem. And have spent $0 on maintenance. Maybe others not as lucky...

Main improvements I wish they would do: softer/better suspension (backseat passenger heads hitting the roof!) and it's too darn noisy on the highway (needs better door and window seals)...

OT for this forum, but I also have a 2018 Model 3. I drove a 2023 Model 3 as a rental car and they’re much quieter on the highway (acoustic glass windshield and side windows with a some kind of laminate or second pane makes a huge difference). You can soften the ride by dropping tire pressure to 39 psi on the 18” Aeros fwiw.
