ST and YOGITECH streamline safety on STM32

View attachment 13247A joint project between STMicro and YOGITECH has produced a set of STM32 safety manuals and software test libraries certified to IEC61508:2010 functional safety standards. Application designers can download the STM32 safety manuals free of charge, taking advantage of guidance in testing their designs. Concepts applied can be extended to other safety-critical situations.

To speed the certification process, YOGITECH is licensing the fRSTL_stm32 libraries as a turnkey STL targeting IEC61508 Safety Integrity Level 2/3. This allows many safety-critical systems to leverage a standard STM32 microcontroller.
