Shock Proof Electronics for Electric Rail Gun

Arthur Hanson

Well-known member
Large and small scale electronics are starting a massive change in the most basic piece of warfare equipment, the gun. It isn't a stretch to see guided projectiles getting small enough to be in larger caliber hand guns and rifles. In the future we will probably see weapons of this type in all shapes and sizes. I predict the research behind this will figure a way to create a chemical charge that produces the electric charge burst needed to power this weapon. Semis of all sizes and types are changing EVERTHING in our world at an ever accelerating rate and warfare of all types is no exception. This technology opens the door for a whole range of uses besides warfare only limited by the imagination.
