Semis/Mems Key to Medical and US solvency

This is but one way that semis/mems can dramatically reduce medical costs. The medical culture in the US has given the US a ranking of 35th in quality and 3 times the cost of other modern countries. This has given the US government a medical debt of near a 100 trillion dollars and growing. For reference, our entire GDP is only seventeen trillion dollars per year. Medical costs are the single greatest threat to the US, far greater than any outside threat. They also cause 60% of personal bankruptcies and threaten many local governments with future bankruptcies. Anything our government now touches, the cost goes up and the quality goes down. This is why we have the world's most expensive primary and secondary education while ranking 35th in quality. It is critical we push the Silicon Valley culture, which generates success upon success over the Washington D.C. culture of declining quality at costs that are totally out of control. Low quality medical and education at high and escalating costs are a greater threat than any external threat. Most great empires collapse from the inside. These are two areas of mega markets world wide that present large opportunities for semis/mems and the ability of the Silicon Valley culture of success and ability to continuously reinvent itself to adapt to changing times.
