Perovskite Solar Cells Advance with Indium

Solar cells are advancing just like the rest of the industry, coming down in cost and improving efficiency. This along with similar improvements in batteries will soon put solar below the cost of the grid. At the rate of progress we're seeing, it looks like this will happen in about three years. The disruption this will cause in the utility sector will be staggering with their long investment and pay back time lines. I also feel in the future we may see flat panel wind energy comprised of MEMS wind generators in a flat panel. Semi production technology has proven it can lower costs and improve efficiency of almost anything it touches dramatically.
