I talked about Sebastian Thrum recently when he gave the keynote at SNUG. Among is other accomplishments he is the founder of Udemy. Some of their courses are quite expensive (iOS developer is $495 for example). But for the next day or two all the most popular courses, including that one, are $10. Use the code BEST10 at checkout.

Actually it is Udacity that is Thrum's company, not Udemy. But Udemy is selling lots of courses at 97% discount.

As per wikipedia - following are founders of udemy which is a very interesting and open MOOC platform unlike udacity

"The site was launched by Eren Bali, Oktay Caglar, and Gagan Biyani in 2010.[SUP][4][/SUP]
In 2007 while in Turkey, Bali built software for a live virtual classroom. He saw potential in making the product free for everyone, so two years later, he moved to Silicon Valley to found a company."
