"Autonomous vehicle company Mobileye capped the most challenging year in its history with a 23% drop in fourth-quarter revenue to $490 million.

The company's operating loss, according to accounting standards, totaled $86 million, while the net loss stood at 9 cents per share. After adjusting for write-offs and other accounting expenses, Mobileye posted an adjusted profit of 13 cents per share. While these results represent a significant decline compared to the same period last year, they were in line with forecasts. "

Intel still owns about 88% of Mobileye.

So that stake is worth about $10B ? Sell!!!!

From what I have been told Mobileye still uses TSMC and is currently working on an N3 chip. It is a very low power chip so TSMC is the best.

Again, this is another example that the first victim of Trump's high tariffs against Taiwan and TSMC will be Intel.

I really don't think TSMC sends wafers to the US. The actual packaged chips will come from somewhere else? I'm sure the semiconductor industry will figure it out. Who is smarter? Them or us? :ROFLMAO:

I analyze the silliness in another thread:

I believe we are all smarter than the person who proposed this tariff idea.

I think Intel Lunar Lake may use cut ready processor wafers imported from Taiwan and made by TSMC at Intel's New Mexico advanced packaging facility.
