Mike Rogoway from the Oregonian just reported the decline in MENT stock after the conference call with analysts on Thursday where Mentor reports a slow-down in their EDA business for this final quarter of 2015.
I was on a Wall Street call for EDA last week and the questions that was most asked was how consolidation will change the EDA revenue stream. I think Wally answered it nicely in this transcript and the stock drop is a n over reaction. Just my opinion of course.
Seeking Alpha just reported that Dan McCranie (BOD) just bought 10K shares, so I'm guessing he's feeling pretty good the drop was an over-reaction, as Dan says.
