Since AI/ML chips and systems are created by the companies that dominate semis, the question is how long before AI/ML dominate chip design? To what degree will this accelerate progress in the versatility, speed and time to market of new chips? Will the TSM ecosystem dominate this new paradigm as it dominates the chip fabricating world now? Will Samsung and Intel be able to keep up? With TSM being the top maker of AI chips for Nvidia and AMD will any others stand a chance of catching up? Any thoughts, observations or expansions on these trends would be appreciated. With TSM dominating AI/ML chips with both Nvidia and AMD as customers, both these companies have to be pushing this to extend their leads further. There can be no rest for the companies in the lead if they want to stay there, Intel is but one of many examples of companies that didn't adapt to changing times.
