The GSA Memory+ CONFERENCE Taiwan will take place on October 31, 2013 at the Regent Taipei, Taiwan. The main theme of this year is highlighting “Memory – the Critical Enabler for Prominent and Emerging Applications in System Logic Solutions.”

Welcome remarks from GSA president, Jodi Shelton, Dr. Chih-Yuan Lu, Chairman, GSA Memory+ Conference Organizing Committee & President, Macronix International Co., Ltd., and Dr. Nicky Lu, Chairman of APAC Leadership Council, GSA; Chairman, TSIA; Chairman, CEO & Founder, Etron Technology, Inc., will initiate a full day of educational presentations.

The 2013 conference offers world-class speakers: the world leading memory companies from Shozo Saito, senior advisor of Toshiba Corporation, is addressing “Memory Technology Challenges for the Next Innovation”, and Samsung Electronics CTO, Dr. Tae-Sung Jung will discuss “New Waves of Memory Technology in Mobile & Cloud Revolution”; the program is also covered by the perspectives from leading Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) system company, Macronix, the eco system partners Advantest, Amkor, Cadence, Rambus, and TSMC, to emerging MRAM company, Spin Transfer Technology.

“Memory IC is both irreplaceable and indispensable to smart devices and mechanical systems. On top of this, memory is the critical enabler for prominent in system logic solutions. The breakthroughs and advancement in the realm of memory can contribute to the revolutionary progress of system solution. Therefore, we have initiated this conference in hope of acting as the pioneer to this rising trend by focusing on the integration and application to ensure the successful advancement of digital systems,” stated Dr. Chih-Yuan Lu, the program committee chair, who is also the president of Macronix International Co., Ltd. (MXIC).
