This could soon become very sophisticated and maybe even lead to self assembly of semis. It will be interesting to see when and if biology and semis cross paths, which is not so far fetched any more. We are built by self assembly, so there is no telling where this technology will go. Imagine storing prints and having them self assemble. Views and opinions on this wanted and welcome. Craig Venter has been doing some very interesting research in this area for reference. It could also provide the ultimate bridge between semis and medical and become the world's largest market. The number of people with bionic devices is only getting started and is going to increase geometrically. Many companies already have substantial budgets in this area.
