This is among the most promising methods I've seen of wireless charging. It's in its very infancy, but points a new direction the technology could go in. Disney is no stranger to new technologies in many areas and if promising has the financial and technical muscle between them and the firms they work with to see this through. It will be interesting to see how this technology develops. This could make Disney a significant player in the world of IOT, especially since no other company has more experience in protecting IP world wide than Disney by a very significant margin. In fact, Disney's political efforts are responsible for much of the IP protection we have today.
