The 2022 Design Automation Conference (DAC) has set a record for the number of research paper submissions, growing 7% from 2021!
Part of this continued growth relates to DAC’s evolution from its roots in traditional electronic design automation (EDA) to its recent expansion into a broad spectrum of research topics associated with chip and system design. In fact, the Design track has become DAC’s largest category for submissions:
· 42% - Design
· 21% - Electronic Design Automation (EDA)
· 13% - Security
· 11% - Embedded Systems & Software (ESS)
· 10% - Artificial Intelligence (AI)
· 3% - Autonomous Systems
In addition, more than 100 submissions were received for the new Artificial intelligence (AI) track which will focus on machine learning model development, AI inspired models of computation, security aspects related to AI/ML, and application of AI to autonomous systems.
To create the premier conference for design and automation of electronic systems, DAC 2022 has assembled the largest technical program committee in DAC’s history, with over 450 distinguished industry and academic researchers contributing.
