AI is in its very infancy and both the hardware and software will advance at a double digit rate, but the broad market will take more time to adjust. Right now the ecosystem for AI is adjusting and getting used to ways to unlock its massive potential. This trend is just going to be in a state of constant acceleration for years, just like the airplane industry took time to revolutionize everything from transport to war with stumbles along the way. AI will be no different and will pick up speed at an even faster rate due to communications and finance being truly international and real time. It is the rate of acceleration that counts and look how fast AI is moving just in its very early infancy. The uses and applications are moving at an unprecedented speed that is only accelerating. The people and organizations that can assume and hold the lead will become dramatic in size and scope, just like the early days of computing. Any thoughts of what companies and fields of endeavor that will lead this historic change are appreciated. AI will hold more surprises and uses than any advance in human history and we are still at the very beginning of this revolution that will change everything. This advance is so dramatic that no one can foresee all the changes that will take place and even this growth rate is going to be accelerating for many years. AI is truly a new frontier for mankind.
