This could be a dramatic game changer for any system using electronics. This development has the power to dramatically change warfare in ways we can hardly imagine if deployed by all sides on a wide scale, warfare would never be the same. It doesn't mention anything though about ways to harden electronics to make them immune. Even if they can be hardened in casings or otherwise, I wonder about the exposed electronics in the guidance and targeting systems. If anyone has experience in this area, I'm sure the community would like their input. Also does anyone have any interesting approaches to counter measures against a weapon like this? I'm also sure if the Chinese have it, others, including us cannot be far behind or even ahead.
