Taiwan, conflict, Drones change the game

China could have a very hard time invading Taiwan due to advances in drone warfare that has changed all the rules. The other problem is an invasion of Taiwan could be so destructive to the world economy China would also be destroying a good part of its market to sell goods to. Peace and cooperation would be far more beneficial for both sides. These lessons are being demonstrated by both sides in the Ukraine/Russia conflict in which there will be no winners, already the losses on both sides are horrific. Drones and the technologies and strategies behind them have made warfare more costly for all those involved. Peace is the best investment of all.

OT but - There are many great tragedies of the past 50 years, but seeing what Russia became post-USSR may end up being the greatest of all. Russia was well positioned to become a strong modern economy -- lots of resources (including land), a strong technical expertise on top of blue collar experience, baked in consumer demand for products, and at least some competent leadership at the time.
