TSM's dominance to continue

Arthur Hanson

Well-known member
TSM's ecosystem of customers, suppliers, government backing has reached a point where there is no real competition at the leading edge and many other areas as they can use paid for older fabs to compete across a larger and larger share of the non-leading-edge business. I don't see any real competition on the horizon. TSM's size and scope have reached a point where they can be the leader in any area they choose. This also applies to their partners that they have made into leaders in their respective areas, from suppliers to customers. The only hope the competition has is to hope they stumble in a major way, which I don't see happening. Tech has made it possible to manage even huge and fast growing companies to maintain a lead unless they stumble and TSM is an ideal example of this. Sticking to what they have mastered and lead in are just part of this strategy. We can count on them to continue to invest in the future and further increase their lead.

An inescapable truth
