Agnisys maintains active R&D activity beyond current products, aggressively pursuing new technologies that may benefit its users. There is a particular focus on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques to allow the specification of some aspects of a design in natural language (English). These technologies are developed in concert with leading users and often make use of crowdsourcing to gather the widest possible range of specification examples from the industry.

Our products provide a common specification-driven development flow to describe registers and sequences for system-on-chip (SoC) and intellectual property (IP) projects, enabling faster design, verification, firmware creation, and validation. Based on patented technology and intuitive user interfaces, our products increase productivity, efficiency, and work quality of individuals and teams, while eliminating system design and verification errors:

IDesignSpec Suite

IDesignSpec™ (IDS) enables IP, SoC, and FPGA teams to create an executable specification for registers and automatically generate outputs for software and hardware teams. You can create your specification with a plug-in for Microsoft Word or Excel, or by using a text-based industry standard format such as SystemRDL, RALF, or IP-XACT. IDesignSpec generates synthesizable Verilog and VHDL RTL, UVM models, C headers, Word, Excel, HTML, PDF, and many other formats directly from your specification.

Automatic Register Verification (ARV™) is an add-on to IDesignSpec that creates a complete environment for automatically verifying all addressable registers with all access types and all complex types for IP and SoC designs. Based on your register specification, ARV generates the complete UVM testbench: bus agents, monitors, drivers, adaptors, predictors, sequencers, and sequences, as well as the makefile and verification plan. The generated files support both popular industry simulators and formal verification tools.

ISequenceSpec™ (ISS) enables users to describe the configuration, programming, and test sequences of an IP or SoC and automatically generate programming and test sequences ready to use. From a single specification, you can generate UVM sequences for verification, C code for firmware and device driver development, CSV for Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) post-silicon validation, and other outputs. ISequenceSpec imports register information from standard descriptions in IP-XACT, SystemRDL, and any IDesignSpec format.
