We are looking for a VP of Finance to support CFO and Exec Team in corporate development activities.

As the VP of Finance at Arteris, you will provide support to the CFO and Exec Team in corporate development activities, including M&A and all aspects of Investor Relations.  The VP of Finance will drive tax structures and tax computation/optimization, manage planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting.  Direct Stock Administration activities and global treasury.

Responsibilities

  • Own all financial modeling and FP&A strategy across the company, including Annual Operating Plans (AOP), quarterly forecasts and guidance setting
  • Direct annual and quarterly strategic and operational planning process
  • Make a substantial contribution at the highest level to the investor relations, financial management, tax, treasury and equity planning and development and growth of the company
  • Partner with executive management, the board and investors to enable data driven decision- making process by providing timely and meaningful financial information.
  • Support CFO by preparing board and investor presentation decks
  • Advise and support sales executives on customer contracts to enable improvements of KPIs
  • Manage third party relations on equity, tax optimization and investor relations
  • Lead M&A deal process including investment modeling, due-diligence and integration activities
  • Play a meaningful role in the establishment of legal entities, staff, planning, financial & operational excellence in Americas, Asia and Europe
  • Drive rigorous and continual cost control
  • Attend interaction with company Audit Committee and Board
  • Direct all aspects of treasury management, including cash management, foreign exchange and debt
  • Strive for constant improvement in financial planning related systems and processes
  • Work closely with VP Corporate Controller to review results ensuring accuracy of actual vs budget variance analysis
  • Work closely with all functions, especially legal, IT, HR and executive management
  • Close working relationships with key external stakeholders including banks, auditors, tax advisers, external accounting firm, valuation firms etc.

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrably strong US GAAP technical knowledge
  • 5+ years’ experience in a US public company setting
  • 15+ years’ experience, at senior management levels
  • Prefer software / SaaS / IP / semiconductor company experience
  • Proficient in advanced Excel applications
  • Experience with NetSuite or other ERP software is preferred
  • Strong understanding of ASC-606 revenue accounting
  • Efficient, influential communicator within Finance and with other groups, as well as leadership and the Board of Directors
  • Persuasive leadership style that gets things done across geographic and functional lines
  • Hands-on style from detail to higher level
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proven success working with domestic and international team members
  • Effectively sets daily/weekly/monthly work priorities
  • Occasional travel will be required to Europe and potentially also APAC; may become more frequent in a foreign acquisition target
  • CPA/CFA preferred
