As a Technical Product Manager at Codasip, you will act as the critical interface between Codasip’s engineering teams and the commercial world. You will work over the full spectrum of the product life cycle. Firstly, you will be responsible for driving early-stage feasibility and viability. Then you will move to delivery and deployment in our customers’ products, ensuring a successful commercial outcome. Our product style here at Codasip is a balance of technical depth and commercial strategy combined with a focus on continuous discovery of our customer and market needs. You will work closely with Field Application Engineer (FAE), Marketing, Sales and Engineering to manage our innovative and unique product solutions.
What you’ll do:
- Help define product strategy through discovery, direction, capabilities and opportunities
- Engage deeply with customers to understand their problems and needs, both technically and commercially
- Write and collaborate on product opportunity and requirements documents; expressing the market opportunity, timeframes, product selling points, feasibility etc.
- Collaborate with sales on product pricing, definition and promotion
- Engage with FAE teams to support them in answering technical questions about the product
- Work with our engineering technical leaders and developers to bring them closer to the customer problem and guide the product solutions collaboratively and iteratively
- Collaborating with the marketing team to promote the product and develop go-to-market strategies
- Support the business and other stakeholders as needed with wider understanding of the products
Requirements
What we need:
- Technical background within processor/compute IP, semiconductor and/or EDA
- Technical skills and knowledge across one or more of the following areas:
- Software development practice, programming language, software tools and the software ecosystem
- Hardware digital design and/or verification
- Designing and experimenting prototypes and/or demonstrations for customers
- The ability to engage in and understand technical discussions, go behind the surface of a customer’s request and understand the user needs
- An understanding of, or strong exposure to product management
- Commercial experience and mindset, with the ability to think strategically about why
- Excellent written and spoken English, as well as confidence in presenting (both internally and externally e.g. trade shows)
- Social competency, flexibility and ability to work in team
- A down-to-earth approach
- Be willing to travel internationally for team meetings
What we’d love you to have:
- A degree in a relevant technical field e.g. electronics, computer science
- Experience in driving development/engineering effort
- An understanding of computer architecture
- Customer facing experience
- Previous experience in a product manager role
