Responsibilities
The Supplier Quality Engineer will work with suppliers on improving and maintaining their quality against Keysight specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
Work with suppliers to develop sourcing processes and systems necessary to make high precision optical (interferometer) products. Provide technical resource for non-conforming materials and outsourcing.
Qualifications
BS or MS in Engineering, Industrial or Mechanical
Skills:
- Read drawings with GD&T specifications
- Troubleshoot inspection challenges
- Supplier Root Cause Analysis
- Leadership skills to guide, direct, and provide action necessary with suppliers, process engineers, design engineers, and metrologists
- Advanced experience with MS Excel. Minitab preferred
- Familiarity with quality control tools
- Familiarity with quality management and planning tools
- Familiarity with statistical tools and capability analysis
- Ability to work on teams and motivate team members to address quality issues.
