This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Trainer, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting individual and group technical training courses and activities for employees and customers.
  • Identifying customer needs.
  • Evaluating and obtaining training programs and materials from external vendors.
  • Completing development of new course materials.
  • Preparing cost calculation of trainings.
  • Performing trainings or organizing and supervising training services for clients.
  • Reviews feedback and modifies/revises course materials as instructed.
  • May provide technical support in case of complaints.

Position Overview

As a member of the CV Education and Physician Proctorship team, you are responsible for the development and delivery of training to support global ultrasound employees, business partners and customers. In addition to educational content creation, you will support collaboration efforts with global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to create and deliver clinical evidence for Siemens Healthineers and collaborate with the internal development teams for product development activities as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage creation of training materials related to product functionality, product demonstration and product installation with marketing as well product development teams.
  • Collaborate with product marketing to help develop product messaging and identify appropriate clinical segments and applications.
  • Plan and coordinate complex individual or group training courses and webinars in domestic and international settings to a variety of audience types.
  • Develops and implements interactive workshops, exercises and role play scenarios applying adult learning principles.
  • Demonstrate and maintains product knowledge, commercial scanning proficiency and presentations skills to create images for presentations, product demonstration, and to provide instruction in product and clinical applications.
  • Research trends and clinical knowledge of new and emerging clinical applications to support in the development of training materials and delivery of training.
  • Oversees and collaborates with marketing, product development, trade shows and sales activities as requested to support overall ultrasound business need.
  • Administer remote or on-site clinical support for global luminaries and clinical marketing activities.
  • Work closely with other members of the Ultrasound Organization on the development and implementation of clinical solutions.
  • Understand, own, and administer competitive clinical product landscape analysis.

This position integrates analysis, development, testing and implementation.  They interpret and functionally influence policy and guidelines in their area of business/technology and develop processes and systems to deliver functional objectives.  Plan own work according to targets agreed, within a quarterly up to an annual cycle, by integrating resources in a project driven environment.  Provide functional advice and guidance to colleagues and customers.  A chartered professional qualification or equivalent is typically associated and is expected to adopt existing concepts, methodologies, etc. to create and open new ways of approaching and fulfilling specific internal and external client requests or project requirements.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience to have for the success of this role

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 5-8 years CV Ultrasound Technology experience; including experience in a Medical Device Technology industry
  • ARDMS/CCI Certification in echocardiography is required.
  • Clinical ultrasound experience 8+ years that includes proficient knowledge in 2D/4D TTE, TEE and ICE echocardiography imaging
  • Vendor credentialing must be completed and maintained for onsite support of collaborations.
  • Experience in development of educational training and delivery of materials.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office software (Word, PPT).
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with proven ability to handle objections and mange conflict
  • Proven ability to work independently and produce timely quality results on multiple projects with minimal instruction.
  • Up to 50% travel including international and weekend travel.
