Business Title: Senior Manager – Software Engineering

Description: As part of leadership group, you will be leading a world class team of software engineers and architects on mission to build our state of art SaaS Platform that enables security and development teams to build secure, high-quality software faster. You would use your technical judgment, experience and knowledge to build out the vision, execution strategy, architecture, and lead teams from concept to deployment and support. You would work across teams and organizations to bring alignment on goals and ensure that products get delivered on-time with high quality.

Specific responsibilities include:
●      Accountable for engineering delivery – deliver software releases using agile processes at regular cadence with enterprise level quality and performance 
●      Collaborate with product management, UX and global engineering teams to define strategy, product roadmap and technology roadmap
●      Set technical direction, drive evolution of the systems architecture influencing decisions for scalable, reliable, and cost-effective engineering solutions 
●      Build and grow a high-performance team of software engineers and technical leaders thru recruitment, coaching, engagement and performance management
●      Build and nurture a culture of quality, ownership, collaboration, continous improvement and data driven decision making
●      Drive process improvements using Agile best practices, continuous deployment, continuous integration and test-driven development

Key Qualifications:

●      15+ years of software development experience building customer facing products and services
●      Must have 6+ years of experience leading full-stack engineering teams building services, data systems, APIs and web applications
●      Must have experience designing and delivering distributed, highly available, large scale, high performing multi-tenant enterprise SaaS applications
●      Must have experience of delivery in rapidly changing, highly collaborative, multi-site, multi-stakeholder environments
●      Must have experience delivering and operating revenue generating products in a public cloud (GCP preferred)
●      Experience and skills in establishing and improving metrics-based processes
●      Customer-first and results-oriented mindset and the ability to make practical decisions when making engineering choices
●      Deep organization capabilities, especially in influence, collaboration and communication with ability to develop strong alliances cross-functionally
●      Excellent communications, organization, and time management skills
●      BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline, and 8+ years of people management experience
