We are seeking a Software Developer in the HPC space. The role involves exposure to a wide range of product development problems.  This project uses C++, Python, Tcl. The documentation is mostly in HTML.

What You Will Do:

  • Learn the architecture of the new unified flagship scheduler
  • Learn how the product is built and tested using proprietary Altair technology
  • Learn about Cloud Computing; support our patented components on all major Cloud providers
  • Test the products using a coverage-driven methodology
  • Add unit tests and regression tests
  • Analyze the performance of each module in the software; optimize performance as needed
  • Document your work
  • Enhance the Machine Learning components (currently based on TensorFlow)
  • Interact with customers; help installation and configuration

What You Will Need:


  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of technical users and management
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Aptitude for solving engineering problems
  • Good communication skills (Oral and Written) in Italian and English
  • Strong interpersonal skills
