Responsibilities

Tests, calibrates/validates and repairs passive, electronic or analytical instruments, products, and modules to maintain functionality and accuracy. Service is performed on Keysight products and/or products manufactured by another company. Work is performed at a Keysight site.

Interprets customer requirements and potential needs to meet customer satisfaction goals. Determines and develops approaches to assignments and procedures.  Responsible for test, repair, preventative maintenance, calibration, and refurbishment duties which require planning and judgment. Solves a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity.

Qualifications

  • This position requires some higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Typically, a minimum of 5 years relevant PMEL experience or equivalent technical training
  • Working knowledge of metrology principles and measurement uncertainties Measurement Guardbanding, and other measurement principles
  • Strong background using network analyzers to calibrate passive devices desired and other equipment with ranges up to 67 GHz.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and interface effectively with fellow team members, customers, and management.
  • Adheres to the highest standards of business ethics.
  • Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Maintains high workmanship standards. Promotes ESD, Service Note compliance, and other programs conducive to the delivery of high-quality service and minimization of re-repair.
  • Direct experience in calibration, adjustment, diagnosis, and troubleshooting to the assembly/component level of test and measurement equipment preferred.
  • A demonstrated ability to leverage new and continuously evolving technologies and process improvements.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and interface effectively with fellow team members, customers, and management.
  • Adheres to the highest standards of business ethics.
  • Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong abilities in use of technical manuals and schematics.

Pay range:

$51,080.00 – $85,130.00 Annually
