Senior IC Design Engineer

Alphacore Inc. seeks Senior IC Design Engineers in Tempe, AZ to Develop product specifications and convert to design specifications. Develop simulation test bench and other test environments. Perform top level mixed mode simulations as directed. Lead design and development of ASICs, including transistor level circuit design. Conduct design reviews, and interface with internal stakeholders and customers to communicate technical updates and program status. Lead and innovate designs for low power design, power management, data converters. Develop a post silicon evaluation plan, support bench evaluation and debug of silicon, and support development of production tests. Assist with project management, schedule tracking and allocation of technical resources. Direct and mentor other design engineers.

Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or related, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations. Must also have 3 years of experience in the following skills: Complex systems design (data converters and PLL etc.); Analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit design; leading IC design teams and design of large building blocks of ICs; and semiconductor manufacturing, packaging, and testing. *Multiple positions available*
