Summary / Role Purpose  
The Senior Tax Accountant will work on all aspects of tax including foreign and domestic income tax provision, federal and state compliance, and federal and state audit. The main responsibilities include domestic income tax provision preparation, foreign income tax provision review, federal and state income tax compliance support and review, and state sales and use tax compliance assistance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Prepare and assist with the quarterly and annual income tax provisions of domestic affiliates in accordance with ASC 740
  • Prepare the quarterly state that provision for the US parent company.
  • Review and assist with the quarterly and annual foreign subsidiary income tax provi-sion.
  • Prepare support for domestic compliance activities and the coordination of its com-pletion by third party service providers
  • Review federal and state income tax compliance prepared by third party service pro-viders
  • Prepare responses to federal and state notices and information requests from federal and state tax audits
  • Assist with the preparation of sales and use and property tax returns

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience involving exposure to basic concepts of taxation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have strong organization skills and demonstrate an attention to detail
  • Must show ability to multi-task and work well independently

Preferred Qualifications and Skills 

  • Public accounting, Big 4 experience preferred
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Experience in a multinational corporate tax department a plus
  • Proficiency with ASC 740 and U.S. GAAP a plus
