Senior Functional Modelling Engineer

What You Will Do:

The (model Based Design) HIL Developer (MBD) is part of an agile development team building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of the C, C++, Simulink and MATLAB scripting development stack. The focus is to review requirements for the multiple projects and translate them into Logical Models as well as compile them in C and C++ code.

The main activities for a HIL MBD developer includes:

• Understand software technical requirements.
• Use ML diagrams and flow charts to translate requirements.
• Create state flow models using Simulink.
• Create Simulink logical model for ECUs functionality.
• Create C code and C++ code.
• Compile libraries in C and C++.
• Use C and C++ libraries in MATLAB and Simulink.
• Participate un SCRUM meetings.
• Report progress using Jira.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with members of external regions.

What You Will Need:

Basics:

• Degree in computer science, mechatronics or a related discipline.
• Strong desire to learn.
• +3 years of experience developing ECU Models.
• +3 years of experience developing C, C++ and Simulink models.
• Experience using MATLAB scripting with Data Structures, OOPs, concepts, variables and data types, file handling concepts, exception handling, generators, iterators.
• Teamwork
