Flex-Logix Inference Software team is looking for a Senior Field Application engineer, ideally with a background in hardware accelerators and convolutional neural network model architectures. You will work with customers to integrate the Flex-Logix model zoo, tool chain,  and X1 product into their applications.  The position will report to the Director of Applications. The successful applicant will join us as an ambassador of our technology as we engage with customers to develop Flex-Logix products into their applications.

Responsibilities:

The Senior FAE will understand the customer facing aspects of the hardware, platform software, and model compilation toolchain.   The senior FAE will develop a team that will work with customers to integrate Flex-Logix software and hardware into their product.  Responsibilities will include the following.

  • Support the customer in developing applications on top of Flex-Logix supported model architectures
  • Work through customer issues with Flex-Logix runtime software components during customer integration
  • Understand the compiler tool chain and engage with customers on installation and usage
  • Engage with product marketing and engineering to help develop a world class compiler and inference runtime environment

Requirements

  • BS/MSEE/CE/CS with a minimum of 7 years of experience field software customer support.
  • Experience in maintaining scripts and automation framework
  • Experience in leading field applications teams
  • Experience engaging with customers to integrate complex hardware/software products into their systems
  • Experience in supporting hardware accelerators
  • Excellent communicator

Strongly desired skills and experience include

  • Developing and publishing technical content
  • Experienced in training and deploying network models into a production environment
  • Experience with using inference runtime software
  • Developing a customer interaction portal
  • Familiarity with Jupyter notebooks, PIP, and docker
