Senior Embedded Software Engineer

What You Will Do:

Seeking Sr. Embedded Software Engineer whose primary responsibilities will be to support requirements, design, implementation, and testing of embedded systems with automotive domain to join our Intelligent Mobility and Software group as a full-time employee. The embedded software engineer will be working with other engineers in determining the requirements, design, implementation, and testing details to support the development of battery electric vehicles.

Job responsibilities: 

• Lead junior SW developers to deliver SW solutions.
• Responsible for defining system, hardware, and software level requirements.
• Responsible for embedded systems architecture and software components design.
• Participate in overall development and implementation of embedded systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support unit/component/module/integration/system level testing.
• Participate in code and design reviews.
• Traveling is required based on the projects needs.

What You Will Need:

Basics:

• BS Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
• 5+ Years’ Experience in embedded software development.
• Experience with development in embedded C, C++, and Simulink development.
• Experience with embedded software development life cycle and testing tools.
• Experience with embedded software development using real time operating systems, task schedulers and configuring microcontrollers peripherals.
• Embedded systems testing with hardware-in-the-loop systems.
• Experience with SPI, CAN, CANFD, UDS, TCP/IP and J1939 communication protocols.

Preferred:

• MS Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
• Experience in AUTOSAR architecture.
• Knowledge of Python or C#.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 standard.
• Experience with power electronics products such as inverters, converters, or battery management systems.
• Experience with control systems (e.g. electro-mechanical control or electro-hydraulic control systems).
