We are looking to extend our DevOps team in the Bucharest office. In this role, you will be responsible for building, automating and maintaining AWS and on-prem cloud infrastructure. Programming skills beyond basic scripting are crucial for this role as the successful candidate would need to understand and migrate existing code bases to AWS cloud. You will be working with a variety of systems, including dedicated build and test infrastructure, Jenkins, CloudBees, containers, AWS ECS, Atlassian tools.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and production grade cloud infrastructures
- Migrate existing business applications to AWS cloud, ensuring they are scalable and product-grade
- Maintain, monitor and extend the existing build and test infrastructure
- Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines based on Jenkins for on-prem and cloud environments
- Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting across infrastructure and application layers
- Support security hardening and compliance readiness across all stacks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as DevOps Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in a developer role
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering background
- Strong knowledge of modern Python programming
- Strong AWS services knowledge (ECS, S3, IAM, VPC, etc)
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform/Ansible)
- Working experience with SQL/Mongo databases
- Working experience with Jenkins, Docker, AWS services.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills
- Fluent English
