Senior CAD Engineer

What You’ll Do:

Work with multiple cross-functional teams – RTL, custom layout, digital, physical design, DFT and methodology teams

What You’ll Need:

• BS/B.Eng degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in cad support / methodology development or similar roles
• Experience with Analog Tool suites (Synopsys custom compiler; Cadence ADE) and Physical verification tools (Synopsys ICV; Mentor Calibre; Cadence PVS/Pegasus)
• Enablement of technology collateral for design teams
• Design and ownership of advance tool flows to easily enable teams in a simple, consistent, and repeatable method from design to design
• Vendor and foundry liaison to drive issues and concerns to solutions on behalf of the design teams
• Evaluation, recommendation, and delivery of new technology methods to various stake holders in the design community
• Proficiency in using revision control software (SVN, GIT, Perforce)
• Working knowledge of task distribution systems (SLURM, SGE, etc.)
• Experience with Analog/Mixed signal Design and Development in Synopsys/Cadence Design
• environment
• Good understanding of standards and formats like Spice, CDL, LEF, DEF, Verilog, SPEF, GDS, OA, .LIB, etc
• Strong proficiency in at least one of the following scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL)
• Proficiency in working with Linux environments
