Description

 CEVA is look for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager in the semiconductor industry: IP Licensing, Strategic Accounts, SoC Design & Integration Services.

Here in CEVA, we develop state of the art Semiconductor IPs and solutions for our customers’ ASIC designs targeting A.I, Vision, Wireless and Base-stations area.

You will be based in our French office and this position requires coordination with the local technical sales and various Business Units to discover new sales opportunities and drive them toward Intellectual Property (IP) / Software license and SoC design and integration services.

Responsibilities :

  • Prospect for new accounts while retaining and expanding business with the current customer base.
  • Negotiate contracts for IP and Software Licensing.
  •  Develop trusted relationships with various stakeholders in engineering, marketing, executive management, and purchasing.
  • Work with local sales team and CEVA Business Units to discover new sales opportunities and drive customers toward Intellectual Property (IP)/Software license.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical understanding of CEVA’s product offering, the value proposition for the customer, and the end-user application(s).
  • Frequent travel within Europe and to Israel.

Must have:

  • 8+ years’ experience in licensing/selling in one or more of the following: Semiconductor Intellectual Property, Embedded Application Software, or System-on-Chips based on programmable processors.
  • Proven success in penetrating and developing relationships with new accounts.
  • Recent business relationships with top tier consumer electronics companies.
  • Expertise in some/most of the following areas: Connectivity, 5G, Wireless, Neural Networks (Audio/Image Enhancements), DSP technologies, Motion Sensors, Bluetooth, Computer Vision, AR/VR.
  • Good understanding and connections within the European semiconductor industry, and/or within the Automotive value chain.

Must Be:

  • High-energy and self-driven with the ability to take ownership of customer relationships, recognizing and solving issues, and coordinating development efforts with the external customers and internal R&D/Support teams.
  • Team player and “people person” with excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to articulate issues and solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good communication and listening skills, with the ability to articulate issues and solutions internally (English).
  • Comfortable presenting to large groups of both technical/engineering and business/executive personnel.
  • Able and willing to work across time zones (Asia-US-Europe) within a multi-cultural organization.

Exceptionally Strong candidates will also have:

  • Understanding of the target markets (Consumer Electronics, Automotive/ADAS, Industrial and IoT) and their applications
  • Background in R&D and technical support, product marketing and/or business development in that industry
  • Prior responsibility for complex pricing and contract negotiation
  • Past experience in Intellectual Property licensing business
  • Domain expertise or familiarity with some communication standards (e.g. LTE, Wifi, Bluetooth, etc.), Imaging/Vision processing and/or Audio/Voice processing.
  • Fluent in French or German language

Education:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • MBA is a plus
