RF Product Technician

Overview
Pragmatic are looking for an enthusiastic RF Technician to join our RF applications team. The successful candidate will be involved in helping with RF tests and characterizations, implementing new tests procedures, carrying out investigations and failure analysis of returned materials, and be involved in helping to develop new processes and characterisation techniques.
Key tasks
- Supporting the day-to-day activities required to characterise reels or individual inlays.
- Standardisation and development of processes and procedures within the RF lab.
- Be responsible for maintaining agreed test units and RF tools in coordination with clean room and electronic lab.
- Aid with the development of new RF setups by conducting internal trials and tests and reporting sound results and conclusions.
Qualifications and training
- Experience at a technician level with proven track record in process development and failure analysis.
- A degree or postgraduate in technology, electronics or engineering (advantageous).
Skills and experience
- Previous experience of working in a dynamic, fast paced, high tech industry.
- Demonstrable use of running process trials, collating and presenting the results, drawing conclusions and making recommendations.
- Must have a methodical and analytical way of working.
- Motivated self-starter.
- Analytical thinker.
- Good communication skills.
- Professional attitude to work and colleagues.
- Flexible approach to work and customer demands.
- A diligent work ethic with a good eye for detail and high standard of record keeping.
- SPC, Continuous Improvement, 8D and other quality methodologies (advantageous).
- Experience of working within the electronics or semiconductor industry (advantageous).
