As an R&D Design Engineer at Keysight, you’ll be part of a collaborative and inclusive environment located primarily in Santa Rosa, CA.  Our team, within Keysight Laboratories, is dedicated to shaping the future of technology.

Job Qualifications:

Required Skills

• Educational Background: BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent.• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience.• Team Leader: Demonstrated experience leading teams as technical leader or manager• Team Player: Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative spirit.

Technical Expertise:

  • Can help reduce broad concepts and business strategies into structured projects across multiple product or technology families.
  • Proficiency in analog and microwave circuit design and/or baseband digital design.
  • Experience with system design
  • Demonstrated experience solving complex, high impact design/ development problems

Simulation Skills: Experience with microwave and/or baseband circuit simulation• Analytical Skills: Self-motivated with excellent analytical skills, capable of tackling complex problems.• Adaptability: Must be flexible, adaptable, and eager to push technical boundaries.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective collaboration.

Additional Desired Skills:

• General understanding of Spectrum Analyzer and/or Vector Signal Generator and/or Network Analyzer hardware architectures.

• Experience with ADS or equivalent simulation tools, enhancing design capabilities.

• Familiarity with RF/Microwave electronic test and measurement equipment
