Responsibilities

This position is within the KGSO Americas Quality and Engineering Team.  Specifically, as part of the Quality leadership team, meeting business continuity and growth objectives for Americas region wide service and support (Test & Measurement Equipment repair and calibration).  These objectives include:

  • Managing and maintaining accreditation to ISO17025, as well as directing scope of accreditation expansions that support growth and new product introductions.
  • Managing all audits for all Americas region sites additionally ensuring compliance to ISO9001, AS9100, Business Quality Standards and customer requirements
  • Representing all findings with root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions
  • Must understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
  • Drives process improvements via LEAN, 6 Sigma, and other quality approaches.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of applicable experience in Business Quality Standards
  • Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer, Standards Engineer/Specialist or similar role is a plus
  • Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Conscientious and responsible
  • Result driven approach to process improvement.
  • Experience with new product introduction
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant quality standards (ISO17025, ISO9001, etc.)
  • Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods.
  • BS Degree preferred.
