Responsibilities include:

  • Fully designing and develop complex parts or large assemblies for automotive applications.
  • Analyzing issues related to automotive components.
  • Applying understanding of full part and vehicle performance from OEM or end-user standpoint.
  • Designing and developing plastic parts from cradle to grave.
  • Participating in plastics part tooling.
  • Designing and developing automotive components with slide, lifter, core/cavity, parting line, mold-flow, etc.
  • Designing and developing metal parts, including those that involve stamping and welding.
  • Participating in frequent communications with customers.
  • Serving as “change ambassador” to track part changes.
  • Developing and testing prototype parts.
  • Troubleshooting problems/failures and recommending corrective actions.

Education/Experience Required:

  • M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 12 mo. experience in the job offered.

Academic program or experience must have included:

  • CATIA V5;
  • DFMEA;
  • DVP&R; and
  • Product Engineering Process (PEP).

40 hrs/wk. 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EOE. E-Verify Employer. No Calls.
