Program Management Director

Job Description and Requirements

In this role you would manage the releases of our Virtual Prototyping Software Solutions. You have an excellent understanding of software development releases and driving the operations behind that. You can deal well with both internal and external stakeholders and have a track record of delivering results on time with high quality.

Ideally this role will be located in Aachen. If you feel you are an exceptional fit and are located elsewhere: Remote work might be an option, with frequent visits to Aachen.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for program managing and driving our product releases, including management of the release scope, quality, and release gatekeeping.
• Interface between R&D teams, DevOps, architects, management, and service/technical field teams.
• Works with corporate teams, product line management, IT and legal.
• The role requires a high level of coordination between the different teams, especially identifying risks to the plan early and dealing with the resulting change management.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Prior experience managing software product releases.
• Technical orientation and knowledge of SW development and quality processes.
• Exceptional ability to manage different stakeholders both internal and external.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of C/C++, compiler technology as well as code quality checkers
• Experience in Jira
