The Siemens Industry, Inc. distribution center in Roebuck, SC is seeking an entry level Production Technician- Supply Chain Analyst to be an integral member of a diverse and dynamic team. Tour growing facility produces high-quality, make-to-order power distribution equipment for the United States.  The position is responsible to assist the materials and logistics teams to ensure manufacturing’s ability to meet customer orders on time and in the most cost-effective way to meet our financial targets as well.  From Day 1, you are empowered to create an impact with your full potential and creativity to make a difference for tomorrow.

The key elements of this role involve:

  • Reviewing and reporting on daily processing errors and distribute to relevant departments
  • Working with production and materials teams to rectify errors and perform root cause analysis
  • Running daily missing stock report for production orders not released.  Researching cause and rectify when possible and/or work with production and materials for solution
  • Running and reviewing daily open order report.  Working with production, materials, logistics and customer service to ensure clean data proper material movements
  • Supporting management of materials and logistics operations
  • Troubleshooting receiving discrepancies
  • Supporting inventory management and resolve inconsistencies
  • Working as liaison between focus factories and materials/logistics
  • Other duties as specified by leadership team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of production, logistics and supply chain processes
  • Four years of experience in supply chain, logistics or production
  • Must have excellent computer skills.
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications with strong Excel skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management and problem-solving abilities
  • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with others
  • Ability to handle tasks in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in related field
  • Lean manufacturing experience
  • Experience in SAP Warehouse Management Module
