Production Operator – Temporary 6 months

Available times :      

• First shift: Monday to Saturday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
• Second shift: Monday through Saturday from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm
• Third shift: Sunday through Saturday from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am

To continue and grow this mission, Samtec is currently seeking a Production Operative.

Nature of Position:

In charge of manufacturing machinery and equipment to produce the highest quantity achievable with a high degree of accuracy. Has a complete working knowledge of the operation of machines, equipment, measuring devices and tools within their assigned area.

Requirements:

• Completion of Baccalaureate in Secondary Education ( essential).
• Basic English ( desirable).
• Experience in soldering iron (desirable).

Essential Functions:

• Build components and parts to minimum tolerances efficiently.
• Responsible for light maintenance, such as making minor adjustments to equipment.
• May work with non-standard materials and design or recommend new procedures.
• Interpret assembly drawings of parts according to client specifications.
• Maintain all production paperwork, including quality and efficiency information.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Responsible for monitoring the quality of materials and finished products.
