Responsibilities include:
- Automating modeling, analysis and post processing processes using TCL-TK and Python.
- Developing automation tools for chassis suspension components that automates the HyperMesh meshing and modeling, generates the analysis solver deck files of Nastran/ Abaqus, performs the analyses & post-process the results using, Tcl, Python and other software.
- Automating piped connection data export of HyperMesh bulk data and data set files through HyperMesh Tcl/Python batch integration.
- Creating post-processing reports in HyperView using Tcl/python.
- Creating automated process flow for other chassis CAE projects. Interacting with HPC systems to submit and monitor the CAE analyses.
- Working closely with CAE and D&R engineers to understand other automation needs and creating automated solutions.
- Getting the CAE automation projects reviewed with feedback from CAE and D&R engineers during designing and automating the chassis CAE processes.
Education/Experience Required:
- M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 1 year experience in the job offered and/or as a Project Engineer/Systems Engineer.
Academic program or experience must have included:
- Hypermesh;
- Abaqus;
- nCode;
- C++ MFC; and
- Ansys.
