Product Engineer Body

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and releasing Seat Complete and Seat Features (e.g., Seat Integration, lumbar, armrests, climate controlled seat components, multi-contour seat components, headrests) for global seat program.
• Analyzing engineering issues to determine solutions for interior automotive components.
• Designing components using Computer Aided Engineering and Design concepts and tools (CAE/CAD), including: Catia V5; GPDS and proven skill of interpreting process deliverables for Body Interior Engineering.
• Applying functional/working knowledge of all D&R tools including: WERS, AVBOM, GPIRS, eFDVS, eDeviation.
• Launching Body Interior Commodities from TT – OKTB.
• Developing and testing prototypes of automotive seating components.
• esting and assuring the quality and functionality of automotive seating components designed and recommending improvements/solutions.

Education/Experience Required:

• M.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and 12 mo. experience in the job offered and/or as a TVM Engineer/Mechanical Engineer.

Academic program or experience must have included:

• DFMEA;
• best-in-class benchmarking;
• TVM;
• RPM; and
• APQP.
