Principal Software Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated R&D engineer to help develop Cadence’s industry-leading simulation and verification tools.

The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience working on EDA simulation/synthesis tools, but the position is open to candidates with a background or interest in EDA, simulation, or a related field.

This is a unique opportunity to join a team of creative engineers working on an exciting new product. Engineer needs to work with a highly motivated group of developers on complex software development. Our team is looking for talents in Taiwan.

Requirements:

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong C++ programming experience on Linux and knowledge of data structures and algorithms is required.
• Experience developing solutions for debugging, tracing, or profiling.
• A deep passion to write software
• Knowledge of HDL (Verilog, VHDL), SystemC, and/or verification languages (SV, e) is desirable
• We’re looking for someone with good communication skills, works well in a tight-knit team environment, and develops maintainable, high-quality C/C++ code using a structured development methodology following detailed coding standards.
