Summary of Duties:     

Support Manufacturing Operations and Advanced Module Engineering to improve factory output and reduce cycle time. Initiate work process improvements across the Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Operations and Module Engineering organizations. Work with Operational Excellence teams to ensure high equipment utilization at low cycle time. Work with the IE systems and capacity planning groups to implement increased automated data provision for capacity planning, FAB simulation and advanced reporting and decision support systems.

Position requires a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Science and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as a Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Performance Excellence Leader, or in a related role. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Science and five (5) years of experience the job offered or as a Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Performance Excellence Leader, or in a related role. Requires relevant experience in a high volume manufacturing company (2 years with Master’s degree, 5 years with Bachelor’s degree). Requires experience in Overall Equipment Excellence (OEE), Semiconductor Factory Physics, Time Study, Cloud-based data analytics and Lean Six Sigma. Requires a high level of competency with JMP, MS Office Suite and Google Suite. Experience in Capacity Planning methodologies: Operations research methods, manufacturing operations and discrete event simulation. Experience with Real Time Dispatching rule optimization.
