Post Sales and Customer Success engagements – Internship

Altair is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Engineering student for 2022/2023. This is a paid internship opportunity. Within this exciting position, as member of the Global Technical Team (GTT), you will be interacting with different regions, people, and helping customers using our solutions for their engineering challenges.

Job Summary:

What You Will Do:

• Learn about the Altair suite of products with a focus in areas like nonlinear structures, crash, impact, drop tests, blasts etc
• Work in tandem with Senior members of the team and application engineers developing custom examples for HyperWorks products related to application fields listed above.
• Help on customer success related technical contents (videos, training, articles)
•  Assist in HyperWorks training activities
•  Assist the GTT with HyperWorks customers by phone calls, emails

What You Will Need:

• Must be at least Junior degree currently (in the 8^th semester or higher), pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Civil, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering degree.
• Strong Interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
• Logical problem-solving skills with ability to demonstrate and communicate solutions.
• Must be driven and excited to learn new technology.
• Basic understanding of Solid Mechanics.
• Basic understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) concepts.
• Exposure to CAE tools like Radioss, OptiStruct, LS-Dyna, ABAQUS and ANSYS is preferred.
• Must be a team player, able to work well with others as well as independently.
• All communication and interaction are expected to be in English.
• Ability to work on multiple projects, across diverse teams and locations.
