PFE Internship – CMP Process Engineer – Environment

As part of your internship, you will join Alexandre’s CMP (chemical mechanical polishing) process team made up of dynamic Technicians and Engineers! This team is responsible for ensuring the performance of CMP equipment in terms of quality, capacity and water/energy consumption.

Immersed in the heart of high technology, you will work partly in a clean room on unique equipment, in close collaboration with the maintenance and production teams.

In a context of optimizing new equipment in the new clean room inaugurated in September 2023, your missions will be diverse:

– Map the water consumption of new installed equipment
– Identify the major contributors
– Define the experimental plans and their deployment

To do this, you will rely on the expertise of the process, maintenance and production teams present within Soitec but also on your exchanges with equipment manufacturers.

You will also have a certain freedom of approach regarding your missions and this is the reason why we are looking for an autonomous person who wants to see this project through to the end!

Student in master 2 or engineering cycle with a first experience (internship or work-study) in project management in a production environment, you are looking for the internship which will allow you to put into practice the skills acquired during your studies and to give them a concrete meaning.

As a good communicator, you like interactions, the challenge of a production line, autonomy and responsibility. Your ability to take a step back and analyze are the tools that will allow you to successfully complete your mission.
