Network Test Engineering Internship

You will be working with Keysight’s industry leading network test and security hardware and software. This is a fast paced, interrupt-driven environment which necessitates self-motivation, good organization, and self-management of priorities.

As an Intern, you will apply your coursework to focused hands-on projects. At the same time, you will gain and apply knowledge about Keysight’s products and technologies in your assignment.

• This is a 6-month internship working 10-15 hours/week (winter/spring) and 40 hours/week during the summer working onsite in our Novi, MI office.
• We are seeking candidates in their junior or senior year of an undergraduate program focused on any of the following disciplines: Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience programing Python preferred
• Experience with Linux preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to function effectively in a team environment
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies

We’re looking for candidates with diverse technical interests including:

• Developing industry focused demonstrations for the automotive and industrial markets by leveraging the Keysight network test tools. Creating
• Creating sample applications to demonstrate Keysight’s capabilities in measuring network timing and Time Sensitive Networking (TSN).
• Develop application examples to showcase Keysight’s network test capabilities for the automotive and industrial markets.
• Test new TSN product features against sample devices.
• Creating sample scripts to demonstration solutions
• Test new network security solutions to detect malicious actions and protect the enterprise from cyberattacks.

Keysight Internship Program Requirements

Candidates who wish to be considered must be currently enrolled in a accredited college/university as of September 2023. Applicants who have graduated before September 2023 will not be considered unless they are starting a MS or PHD program after graduating.
