Summary / Role Purpose:

The role of Marketing Specialist will be to execute Account Based Marketing plan. The candidate will be working closely with the Marketing Manager, sales, and technical team to prioritize accounts, identify opportunities and mapping Ansys product/solutions portfolio to the opportunities. This role will involve executing several tactics such as roundtables, 3rd party conferences, Linkedin promotions, webinars, and virtual summits to build awareness, interest, and influence buying and software usage decisions. This role will demonstrate strong understanding of customers, industry and technology trends within Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Industrial, Semiconductor & HiTech to name a few.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Marketing Manager to build a scalable strategy and plan for Account Based Marketing for enterprise and strategic accounts.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing team, Digital Marketing team to execute the tactics and to deliver on desired objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales and Ansys Customer Excellence (ACE) team in researching the account to generate information on the existing applications for which Ansys is used and the potential based on the projects undertaken by the account. Transform this information to target white spaces.
  • Use research (online and offline) to generate account org. structure details to identify the users, influencers, decision makers in the buying cycle of products/solutions targeted.
  • Map content to the white space. In some cases, build relevant content through working with ACE and Product Marketing team. Identify strategies (digital and physical events) by working closely with Marketing Manager to push the content to the targeted audience.
  • Coordinate with digital marketing team, develop the plan and work on executing the digital plan for the account.
  • Identify, track and analyze the ABM outcome. Work with Marketing Manager on maximizing the outcome and reducing the cost of marketing.
  • Conduct account reviews and circulate detailed analysis and progress made for the accounts
  • Strategize campaigns, sub-campaigns, events to deliver strong messaging and deliver strong conversations and outcomes to support Ansys’ value proposition.

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience:

  • Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace/Electronics) and MBA.
  • Between 7-10 years of experience in B2B marketing of software, Hi-tech products or B2B offerings.
  • Should have experience of sales force cloud marketing tool or a similar tool.
  • Should have demonstrated on executing plans for growth of sales accepted opportunities.
  • Understanding of B2B buying process, challenges and success factors.
  • Analytical orientation, attention to details, ability to work in a cross-functional team, strong customer focus, business acumen is essential. Ability to understand ANSYS’ technical offering and to develop strategies to realize opportunities through the offering.
  • Ability to quickly analyze data, spot trends, and derive meaningful insights that would help improve action plans to deliver better outcome.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in B2B industry. MBA from Tier-1/2 institute
  • Ability to travel upto 25%
