Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an Industry Marketing professional to oversee and execute our Field Marketing growth strategy for Banking/Financial Services. In this role, you will build regional brand awareness and create demand for Altair software solutions across the Banking/Financial Services communities to successfully achieve field and channel sales objectives.
What You Will Do:
- Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of comprehensive marketing programs that will enhance the company’s image and position within the industry marketplace and the general public
- Responsible for the success of Banking/Financial Services targeted marketing activities by developing integrated marketing campaigns across the industry audience that span across various channels including ABM tactics, digital marketing, webinars and liaising with event management
- Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and key businesses and organization/associations active within the market
- Work with industry account teams, business development reps and inside sales to understand target audiences
- Ensure articulation of the organization’s desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout marketing campaigns
- Complete ad hoc projects, as assigned, in support of various business objectives
- Present a “can-do” attitude, willing to jump in and help where needed
What You Will Need:
- 5-7 years’ experience working in or marketing to the banking/financial services industry
- Strong understanding of banking/financial services industry needs and desires
- Confident self-starter who can work well with minimum supervision and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong focus on execution and results
- Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple competing tasks and demands
- A problem-solver—quick to figure solutions, make things happen and think progressively
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; position works closely with multiple functions
- Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Experience with HubSpot, ABM tactics, and Salesforce
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up, budgeting, and time management skills
- Adept at handling multiple complex projects simultaneously under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree—marketing, business administration, or finance preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Willing to travel to attend industry/internal events as needed (average of once a quarter)
